Happy Birthday.... ME!
Oct. 9th, 2005 11:59 pmWow. Another year gone by and I'm still not a millionaire. But on the plus side, I've been having a great weekend with just me and the Wif. Kiddo's staying with my mom and youngest brother in the H-ville digs. On the whole, I gotta say it's been a fun birthday weekend.
Spent about an hour at "Lincoln Days" with Kiddo and mom watching a parade and wrestling with my wee bairne. Got some swell books: Anansi Boys, Thud! and The Figure in Motion. Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett and a buncha nekkid people running around. What more could you ask out of a birthday? Well, I also finally bowelled a game over 100 points. In fact, my first game kicked muy mucho ass. I know it's only 123, but hey, 2 strikes and 3 spares are really good for me.
