Success.
I guess. I've drawn, written and lettered 24 pages of sequential art (that's comics for the unejimicated). It is about Thrud, daughter of Thor, seeking out her two brothers, Magni and Modi, and smiting things that get in her way. It ends a little sappy.
Inventory?
Bleary eyes? Check.
Swollen joints? Check.
Permanent crick in my neck from hunching over my art? Check.
Sore butt? Cha-check.
Hours awake? 22, baby.
Hot goddamn. On the one hand, it's not all inked, which I know is dubious for "completion" purposes, but the pencils are pretty tight and were I to -HAHA- scan it it now and adjust the levels, it'd show up really well. I'm finishing in much better standing than last year, where upon page 6 (about hour 13), I started drawing on increasingly smaller pieces of paper and entered a stream of consciousness mode of cartooning that is probably banned for the safety of humanity.
Why yes, I'm kinda delirious. How're you?
Do not worry, I WILL ink it and scan it. Some of these pages are actually pretty good, if I say so myself. NOTE: I have the right to go back and lament its utter suckitude when I regain conherence.
WHEE.
